PROPER CHILD SEAT INSTALLATION
Patrick MINI in Schaumburg, IL recognizes that parents want their children to be as safe as possible when riding in MINI a vehicle. In order to be safe, young children need to be in a car seat. It is important that you select the correct car seat and that you install that car seat properly. Children from one to three years should be in a rear-facing infant car seat. From the ages of four to seven years, children should be in a front-facing car seat. Booster seats are appropriate for children over the age of 8 years. All car seats should be placed in the back seat. Secure the car seat with the built-in child seat anchors. If your vehicle is not equipped with these, lock the seat in place with the seat belt. Make sure that the seat is fully secure, you do not want the seat to have movement of more than one inch in any direction.
