NAMI Metro Suburban is a grassroots organization dedicated to providing mental health support, education, and advocacy for individuals, families, and communities affected by mental illness in the western suburbs of Cook County. As an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), NAMI Metro Suburban is part of a nationwide network of over 900 affiliates committed to improving lives through self-help support, educational programs, and advocacy efforts.
Guided by powerful journeys of healing and stories of hope, NAMI Metro Suburban fosters positive change with a bold vision of collective action. Their mission is to strengthen the mental health and well-being of area residents, families, and the entire west suburban region, which is further amplified through meaningful partnerships.
