    "I stumbled across Patrick Mini quite accidentally. Bill Jacobs Mini, while doing a $1400 repair on the turbo oil line, which was questionable to start, then told me my car needed an additional $2400 of work on the timing chain. I didn't trust them for some reason so I had them put the car back together and I called a family friend for a recommendation of a mechanic to give me a 2nd opinion. My friend works at Patrick BMW. He indicated the timing chain issue in a 2007 Mini was well known and it would probably be covered under warranty even though my car was just off warranty by 3K miles. He called Patrick Mini....they called corporate....and lo and behold, it was covered under warranty. In short, Bill Jacobs knew it would have been covered by warranty but I am sure they would get a higher price if I paid cash vs. if corporate covered the bill. Patrick, I am sure, would have made more money on the repair had I paid cash....however they actually valued customer service and satisfaction and went out of their way to do what was in my best interest and not theirs. Totally opposite of Bill Jacobs....the scumbags. So, Patrick is now my Mini place. I will do all my repair and service work there and when I finally decide to buy the AWD fully loaded Countryman I have been dreaming about....I will buy it from Patrick. I will also be steering as much business away from Bill Jacobs to Patrick as well. Patrick provided top notch, timely, friendly and professional service that was above all else...trustworthy. Not only did they do the service right away, they also dropped my daughter and me off at Woodfield Mall for a couple hours of holiday shopping while we waited.
